The first/index page wouldn't come up without having a internet connection. So it's NOT TRUE that this website runs without internet.
This is simple Abobe Flash website. Once the website is launched (which uses "internet connection"), there is an algorithm in background which starts polling (say for every 5 seconds) if the internet connection is live or dead; if live - asks you to deactivate it.
Talking in terms of programming.. an infinite "while" loop which has "if then else" statements in it.
Once the condition holds true, it gives you a green signal to enter the website. Good that it has one way entry.
The greeting is fantastic! And it carries the all information related to him. Having included, Rajni's life story, inside scoops and best Rajni jokes on internet.
The same algorithm polls for say every 5 seconds and gives you the message "Aiyyo! That was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your internet." if the internet is live.
Overall a superb website..!! Liked it.
